Japan's Ocean Network Express (ONE) line has added new partners to its Asia to South America network.

The containership joint venture involving NYK, MOL and K Line will cooperate with Hapag-Lloyd and MSC on the trade lane.

The new service will connect Asia with the east coast of South America, calling at major ports in Korea, China, Singapore, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and South Africa.

The new run offers market leading transit times and enhanced inbound coverage for Santa Catarina state, ONE said.

It begins from Pusan in Korea in the second week of December.

Full rotation is: Pusan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Yantian - Hong Kong - Singapore - Santos - Paranagua - Navegantes - Montevideo - Buenos Aires - Rio Grande - Navegantes - Paranagua - Santos - Coega - (Port Kelang) - Singapore - Hong Kong – Busan.
