Cyprus-based Lemissoler Navigation has quietly sold the three supramax bulkers owned by its Diolkos Maritime arm.

European brokers said the Diolkos the 56,000-dwt Anogyra (built 2011), Lefkoniko and Leonarisso (both built 2010) have all gone to an undisclosed buyer. The ships were all built at Jiangdong Shipyard in China.

The Anogyra has fetched $10.3m, while the other two vessels have each sold for $10m, according to the reports. That indicates Anogyra may have been sold some time ago, as the prices have been dropping. The Leonarisso is believed to have been sold at the end of August.

The three ships had been on the market for some time, with TradeWinds reporting in early September that they were on the block. They were all purchased when Diolkos was set up in 2011, in off-market deals.

Lemissoler did not respond to requests for comment.

The sale of the trio comes as the outfit awaits delivery of eight ultramaxes from New Times Shipbuilding that are due for to hit the water later this year and in 2020.

In December 2017, the Lemissoler's FrontMarine subsidiary struck a deal with New Times Shipbuilding in China for eight 64,000-dwt bulkers at a price of $25m each plus options for another eight. The options are believed to have been dropped.
