French operator Corsica Linea has become a shipowner with its first ever vessel order.
The company has placed a contract at the Visentini yard in Italy for a 30,000-gt ship to carry 650 passengers.
It operates seven vessels currently.
The new unit will be LNG-powered, according to Les Echos. It is due in 2022.
No price has been given for the ship.
