A Nordea Bank-headed consortium has finally managed to offload two multigas carriers from the fleet of collapsed IM Skaugen company Norgas Carriers.

The 10,000-cbm Norgas Creation (built 2010) and Norgas Invention (built 2011) have gone to Rotterdam-based Anthony Veder, brokers say.

Price estimates vary vastly from $20.5m to $36.5m per ship.

Values at the higher end of the range take into account the LNG capacity on the Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding-constructed vessels.

The vessels were put up for sale in October last year, with Clarksons in Oslo as exclusive broker.

The plan was originally to conclude a sale by the end of 2018.

Skaugen had a total debt of $109m, of which $54.2m was tied to these two owned ships.

Nordea has yet to commented on the reported sale.
