Struggling Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik Group is to be delisted next month.

Zagreb Stock Exchange said the last day of trading will be 8 November.

It took the decision after a request from the company's bankruptcy trustee.

The group is undergoing a court restructuring process after running into financial problems.

This began in May following worker strikes over unpaid wages and cancellation of ship contracts by owners.

The Uljanik Shipyard unit is also undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, but the other major yard in the group, 3 Maj, has avoided this fate.

The state decided to issue guarantees for a $22m loan from the state-owned development bank HBOR to 3 Maj to allow it to complete vessels.

Canada's Algoma Centra Corporation has revived a previously cancelled bulker order there as a result.
