Ever wondered what would happen if a 4,500-gt tanker was launched into a canal next to a road?
Well, now there’s video evidence: a pretty spectacular wave is created.
The clip, shot by a drone, of the Greenland entering the water at Ferus Smit in the Netherlands has been viewed 1.7m times since it was posted on the Imgur website this week.
But the assembled bystanders appeared to stay mostly dry, with the yard keeping them well back from the splash zonewave.
