The new rotation, starting with a sailing from Yokohama on 4 August, will run: Osaka- Pusan - Qingdao- Shanghai - Ningbo- Melbourne - Sydney- Brisbane before returning to Yokohama.
NEAX partners Evergreen, NYK, MOL, K Line and OOCL say thechanges will also shorten the transit time from Shanghaiand Ningbo toAustralian ports.
Evergreen is also separately adding the Sino AustraliaService (SAS) to its roster from the same date via a slot charter deal with China’s Cosco.
The SAS links Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Shekou,Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourneand Brisbane.
