Navios Maritime Partners announced a new board appointment as another director steps down.
The Angeliki Frangou-led company said Orthodoxia Zisimatou will be joining its board.
Zisimatou is currently Secretary General of the Union of Piraeus Shipping Lawyers. She also serves on the policy, environmental and legal committees of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping. She is currently a member of the Athens bar and earned a bachelor’s degree in Law from the faculty of Law of the University of Athens.
“We are delighted Mrs. Zisimatou has joined our board and believe that her deep understanding of shipping and maritime law will significantly benefit the Company,” Frangou said.
Zisimatou will replace Dimitris Papastefanou Gkouras, who has been a director at Navios since June 2013.
