Six crew hijacked from a Turkish tanker off Nigeria have been released.
The men from the 15,900-dwt products tanker Puli (built 2007) were seized two weeks ago, but are now safely back in Istanbul, a lawyer for the shipowner, Kaptanoglu, told Reuters.
Fehmi Ulgener declined to comment on whether a ransom had been paid.
The six included the captain, chief officer and chief engineer.
They were taken from their vessel 90 miles off the coast on 11 April.
The ship was carrying fuel to Cameroon.
