In these uncertain times a bit of good news is always welcome, and Jefferies analyst Randy Giveans certainly provided it this week.

The birth of his daughter, Finley Rita Giveans, was announced in style with an email parodying his day job.

And with a very nurturing and supportive parents-child relationship, coupled with lots of prayer, the upside potential for Finley is extraordinary!

"We initiated coverage of Finley Rita Giveans (ticker: FRG) on 03/04/2019 with an extremely bullish outlook," Giveans wrote.

"Weighing in at 7lbs and 6oz, spanning 20 inches long, with blue eyes, a beautiful smile, and a sweet spirit, the daughter spin-out of Team Giveans is already exceeding expectations. And with a very nurturing and supportive parents-child relationship, coupled with lots of prayer, the upside potential for Finley is extraordinary!"

Giveans said he is out of the office until 18 March working on his paternal skills.

Those include "changing diapers, helping with feedings, not sleeping, singing lullabies, bathing a newborn, washing onesies, and snuggling with our bundle of joy".

He explained that Finley is his grandmother’s maiden name.

We're glad to see the UK's US cousins are keeping up a fine tradition of turning surnames into first names.
