The 4,000-dwt Havila Clipper (built 2011) has been fixed to the Danish oil and shipping giant for three years from June 1, and an optional period with Maersk of one year in June 2017.

Existing options for the 4,100-dwt Havila Heroy (built 2009) and 3,900-dwt Havila Fano(built 2010) have been confirmed, and lengthened to five years so that the Havila Heroy will stay with Maersk Oil until December 2019 and the Havila Fano until September 2020.

Shell has also declared a first optional period of one year for the 4,000-dwt Havila Borg (built 2009), which is currently working in West Africa.  It will take the PSV's charter until July 2015, plus a further three optional years.

The Norwegian offshore vessel operator did not provide charter rates, but says commercial terms are based on existing contract levels, and for the Havila Clipper on market conditions. The Havila Clipper was last fixed by Statoil for three months in February at an estimated NOK 210,00 per day ($35,000).
