Global law firm HFW has promoted eight new partners, including two in shipping.
The company said the moves reflect its continued growth across its network.
HFW has carried out six international mergers and alliances since January 2016, including a fully-integrated transatlantic deal.
It now has 56% of revenue generated outside the UK.
HFW said Alex Kemp will become a shipping partner in London from 1 April.
He is a litigator, with expertise in both wet and dry disputes, focusing on marine insurance and complex casualty response.
In Melbourne, Simon Shaddick has also been appointed a partner.
Specialising in shipping and marine dispute resolution, he has particular expertise in the offshore energy sector, where he has dealt with cases relating to the construction, chartering, operation and insurance of drilling rigs, FPSOs and FSOs, other surface and subsea installations, and a wide range of offshore support vessels.
HFW senior partner Richard Crump said: "These promotions reflect our continued growth internationally and in each of our sectors. It is also great to see the promotion of our internal talent."
