Woodside boosted LNG cargo deliveries from the North West Shelf project by five in the first half of the year, mainly due to increased production from Train 5.

The operator said it shipped 132 cargoes on behalf of the joint venture compared with 127 in the same period of 2010.

Production at the Australian plant also jumped 7%, Woodside said.

Maintenance is scheduled at North West Shelf in the second half.

Train 5 is due to be down for around 35 days while the North Rankin A offshore platform that provides feedstock gas will undergo work for around 20 days.
