Allseas Group has secured employment for its huge construction flagship in the Black Sea.
The 403,000-gt heavy lifter Pioneering Spirit (built 2015) has been awarded a contract for the installation of the first line of the TurkStream offshore section.
Allseas has been tasked with laying more than 900km of pipes on the Black Sea seabed.
Work on the project will commence in the second half of 2017 while Allseas has also agreed on an option for laying the second line.
As TradeWinds reported earlier this week, Allseas bought a construction vessel from Volstad.
The newly added ship will support Allseas’ huge Pioneering Spirit in various projects.
