Ocean Installer has booked a subsea construction vessel owned by Eidesvik Offshore for a two-month contract.
The 13,500-dwt Viking Neptun (built 2015) will begin the contract in the third quarter this year.
Eidesvik said the contract includes extension options "in the charterer's favour" but did not reveal any further details.
The vessel will continue to be employed with Germany's Merkur Offshore in the North Sea until mid-May, on a contract that also has optional extension periods attached.
