Norwegian OSV owner Subsea 7 has clinched a contract worth between $50m and $150m in the North Sea.
It will carry out installation and diving work in Equinor's Europipe II, Heimdal and Statfjord fields, located in the Danish and Norwegian sectors.
The deal involves engineering, procurement, construction and installation of pipeline end manifolds, bypass and tie-in spools for the Europipe II gas pipeline, Oseberg Gas Transport and Statpipe pipelines, operated by Gassco.
Offshore campaigns are scheduled for 2020, 2021 and 2022, using a diving ship and a light construction vessel.
Monica Bjorkmann, Subsea 7’s vice president for Norway, said: “This award builds on our established and strong relationship with Equinor, and recognises our substantial experience of delivering our installation and diving capabilities safely, efficiently and reliably.”
