Container terminal operator Eurogate has revealed top management changes at its Hamburg and Bremerhaven divisions.

Peter Zielinski, managing director at Eurogate’s Hamburg terminal is retiring on 31 December and will be replaced by Wolfgang Schiemann.

Schiemann will leave his current base at Bremerhaven and return to the Elbe after 12 years.

He is an experienced seafarer and became operations manager at Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg in 2000.

Manuela Drews will replace Schiemann as the boss of the Bremerhaven terminal, starting from January.

Born in 1978, Drews joined the Eurogate Group as a junior manager in 2003 and was promoted as head of operations five years later.
