A Greek cargoship has suffered no damage after breaking its moorings in a storm.

Footage showed the 3,200-dwt Syros Wind (built 1987) being forced from the shore at Serifos island, Greece, on Sunday.

The Prototherma website said the vessel had been hit by a strong gust.

Crew battled for more than an hour to bring it back under control.

The vessel is listed as operated by Thetis Shipholding.
