A sunken general cargoship is being raised in Fiji - only to be scuttled later.
The Fiji Sun reported that the island's maritime safety authority has partially refloated the 4,300-dwt Southern Phoenix (built 1986) off Suva.
But more work needs to be done before any further movement is carried out.
A salvage company is to shift the vessel to a holding area eventually, before it is towed to its scuttling site, weather depending.
The ship went down in 2017 after taking on water during cargo loading.
It is owned by Cruz Holdings
The vessel had 183 tonnes of heavy fuel oil on board, as well as 179 containers.
