Olympic Ship has sold a modern multifunctional subsea support vessel to Swire Pacific Offshore.
The restructuring Oslo-listed company has parted ways with the 115-loa Olympic Athene (built 2014).
Olympic said this sale would have a net positive cash effect of NOK 70m ($8.4m) after repayment of debt.
But it did not disclose the transaction price of the deal.
The delivery of the ship to Swire Pacific took place today and this has left Olympic with 22 vessels.
Olympic has been working on reaching a refinancing agreement with its bondholders over the past months.
According to the latest extension granted to the company, it has until 21 December to find a viable solution with bondholders and investors.
