An Athens court has granted an appeal by the Greek state and Piraeus Bank to liquidate the Skaramangas shipyard.
Assets will be auctioned off by international, providing there is no objection from key shareholder Privinvest.
This is uncertain at the moment, the Kathimerini daily reported.
Chinese shipping giant CoscoCS has been tipped to participate in any bidding.
The government and the bank had asked for Skaramangas to be prepared for liquidation in 2014.
This was a bid to free it from problems caused by the European Commission demanding the yard return state subsidies.
It has been reported that Greece wants to split the yard into commercial shipping and naval units.
