Global United of Singapore is said to have sold a second aframax tanker in as many months.

Brokers tell TradeWinds the company has offloaded the 116,100-dwt Isis (built 2007).

A price of around $30m is being placed on the transaction, which compares with the $26.52m VesselsValue has against the ship.

Just over a month ago Global United sold another of its aframaxes, the 106,000-dwt Trident Star (built 2005).

TradeWinds has previously reported that the ship was purchased by Nathalin.

Two further Global United aframaxes were sold to Greek owner Polembros last year.

A sale of the Isis leaves the Singaporean owner with three aframaxes and three bulkers in its live fleet.
