Tatham Macinnes continues to add experience to its growing team of lawyers with the appointment of a former Hill Dickinson solicitor.

Nick Phillips has left his latest position at Hill Dickinson to join London-based Tatham as a solicitor consultant.

Simon Tatham, senior partner at Tatham, said: “His skill set complements our existing core shipping and shipbuilding practice and we will benefit from his significant experience.

“He has a very commercial approach to resolving disputes which in the present market is exactly what clients want.”

Phillips has spent over 30 years as a lawyer in the maritime sector, focusing on charter party disputes and ship construction.

Newly appointed Phillips said: “I am looking forward to working with Tatham Macinnes. It’s a great team with a refreshing approach and I am sure I can contribute to the firm’s practice.”

This is Tatham's second addition less than a week.

On 2 August the law firm welcomed James Hickland, who left Ince & Co.
