Korea's HMM is expanding its cooperation with Russian container line Fesco.
The company said it has been operating a service between China, Korea and Russia called CRN with Fesco and France's CMA CGM.
Two new direct runs between Korea and Russia will be added, named KRS and KRS 2.
HMM will use one 1,000-teu feedership for KR2 for calls at Busan and Vostochny, while Fesco will contribute a 1,200-teu unit for KRS from Busan to Vladivostok.
These services begin next month.
CRN will change its port rotation to Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo and Vladivostok.
An HMM official said: "HMM expects to provide a faster and more reliable service through increased cooperation with Fesco."
"Based on those three services, HMM will strengthen its market position in Russia."
