CMA CGM is merging its short-sea line MacAndrews into the newly acquired Containerships operation.
The French boxship giant said the brand would disappear on 1 April, with the Containerships name surviving.
It bought Finland's Containerships last year.
The aim is to create a leading intra-European carrier, unlocking "major synergies" along the way.
MacAndrews was taken over in 2002 and merged with another CMA CGM short-sea operation, OPDR, last year.
CMA CGM's Guillaume Lathelize, senior vice president for short-sea in the Mediterranean and northern Europe, said: “With the combination of these two complementary brands recognised for their expertise, the CMA CGM Group reaffirms its strategy aimed at densifying its regional coverage and developing land and logistics services."
