The Ocean Alliance boxship partners have revealed their new service for 2019 involving 330 ships.
CMA CGM will deploy 111 of these, with the others coming from Cosco, OOCL and Evergreen.
Called Ocean Alliance Day 3, the new network will launch in April.
It claims to be the world’s largest operational agreement between shipping companies.
The deal involves 38 services with an estimated carrying capacity of around 3.8m teu.
The partners said it would have the largest network in the transpacific trade with 19 strings, and it will add a seventh service between Asia and Europe.
Rodolphe Saade, chairman and CEO of CMA CGM, said: “This new agreement with our Asian partners will enable us to propose to our customers an unrivalled and competitive service offering. It is a milestone in our development strategy."
The alliance was launched in spring 2017.
