Pirates have released 11 seafarers abducted from a Peter Dohle containership off Nigeria on 27 October.
Dohle's Isle of Man manager Midocean said the men from the 2,546-teu Pomerenia Sky (built 2007) are now safe after eight weeks in captivity.
"This happy news has been conveyed to the families of the seafarers," it added.
"The management of Midocean (IOM) Limited and everyone in the company are delighted that the seafarers are safe and can return to their families.
"Midocean (IOM) Limited wishes to thank all the relevant parties for helping to secure the release of our much-valued seafarers. The seafarers will have received full medical checks before flying back to their countries and homes."
Reports said at the time eight Poles, two Filipinos and a Ukrainian were kidnapped.
The ship was attacked and boarded while en-route to the port of Onne, 50 miles off the coast.
The gunmen used two motor boats to reach the vessel.
The crew had time to send a distress signal and no injuries were reported.
Nine seafarers were left on board.
