Shipping Corp of India (SCI) is selling off two veteran tankers.
The company said its board had approved the disposal of the 93,000-dwt Abul Kalam Azad (built 1999) and the 45,000-dwt Bankimchandra Chatterjee (built 1994).
Clarksons lists the duo as idle currently.
The owner also said its second quarter net loss was INR 761m ($11.79m) against INR 177m in the same three months of 2016.
Revenue was up at INR 8.24bn from INR 8.06bn, but costs rose nearly INR 770m.
Containership operations produced profit of INR 46m, against a loss of INR 321m a year ago, while bulkers lost INR 217m compared to INR 516m in 2016.
Tankers and gas carriers made a loss of INR 101m from a profit of INR 837m.
