Greek dry bulk shipowner AM Nomikos continues to be busy in the sale-and-purchase market.
It has reportedly concluded two more deals capitalising on firm bulker values.
The Nantong Cosco-built 61,600-dwt Noni (built 2015) is understood to have fetched $27.5m, or about $1m more than VesselsValue's valuation.
The ship is due for dry-docking in January 2024. Nomikos purchased it in October this year for $17.75m.
In addition to supramaxes and ultramaxes, AM Nomikos has been interested in the panamax segment.
It is understood to have sold the Imabari-built 74,100-dwt Braveheart (built 2001).
This ship, which is not due for special survey until January 2026, has gone for a reported $13m to an undisclosed buyer.
The 20-year-old bulker has an estimated market value of $11.8m and a demolition value of $6.5m.
AM Nomikos is listed with 41 bulkers: 26 supramaxes and 11 ultramaxes. It has sold four bulkers and bought one this year.
