Restructured Singapore trader Noble Group has cut its fleet to one vessel after its latest disposal.
The company said its subsidiary Parmenter Limited has completed the sale of the 93,000-dwt post-panamax Ocean Garnet (built 2010) for $11m.
This tallies with the VesselsValue assessment of the ship's worth.
The bulker has been linked with Germany's Oldendorff Carriers.
Noble has recently docked the vessel and installed ballast water treatment onboard.
A price of $12.5m was previously mentioned by brokers.
The sale is the latest in a series of disposals as the company exits shipping to focus on trading.
In February, Kondinave SA, a Greek shipping company led by former broker Alexis Kondilis, emerged as the buyer of the sistership Ocean Sapphire (built 2012) for $12.8m.
One cape on the books
Noble is now thought to have just the 180,000-dwt capesize Aqua Vision (built 2011) left under ownership.
Earlier this year Athens-based brokers said this ship had gone for about $20m, to undisclosed buyers.
But other sources expressed doubt that any final deal has been concluded.
Ocean Garnet and Ocean Sapphire had been reported sold as early as in November last year in deals that never materialised.
Some market sources believe that Noble Group ships are frequently sold in deals on subjects, which eventually are not lifted.
