Hong Kong-based shipowner Wah Kwong has sold a handysize bulker to European interests, according to broker reports.
The geared 32,467-dwt Bonnie Venture (built 2012) was reportedly sold to an unnamed buyer for $9.5m in mid-December.
The China-built vessel was sold at a discount compared to a similar Japan-built handysize reported sold last month.
The geared Coral Ocean (31,989 dwt, built 2012) achieved $14.1m when it was sold by First Marine to Turkish interests last month, according to brokers.
