A general cargoship with hull cracking has been barred from Paris MOU ports for a year.
It is the second time the 2,900-dwt Nila (built 1978) has been banned by the organisation. A first offence attracts a three-month exclusion.
The port state body said the ship was detained in Russia's Kavkaz port in October, its third detention in the last three years.
It was held for 79 days with 10 deficiencies. The ban runs from 1 January.
The grounds for detention were two instances of hull-cracking.
Its Togo flag is on the Paris MOU black list.
The vessel was also detained twice each in Russia and Turkey in 2016.
It is listed as managed by Armada Shipping & Chartering of Istanbul.
Nila is currently anchored in Samsun, Turkey.
