Diana Shipping has deepened its working relation ship with SwissMarine, having fixed another vessel to the Geneva-based operator.
New York-listed Diana has chartered one of its capesizes to the Swiss company, according to Clarksons.
SwissMarine will pay $17,500 per day for 179,134-dwt PS Palios (built in 2013) for about eight to nine months, starting today, equal to the average six-month rate for such ships.
The fixture is expected to make about $3.94m in revenue for the minimum period of the charter.
The vessel was chartered, as previously announced, to Koch Shipping at $17,350 per day.
Diana's fleet will consist of 45 dry bulk ships, once a panamax sale is completed.
