Diana Shipping has fixed one capesize vessel each to Singapore Marine and Oldendorff Carriers.

The New York-listed bulker player has entered into a timecharter contract with Singapore for 177,773-dwt New York (built 2010).

The charter, begun Friday, will run from 17 months to 19 months at $15,500 per day.

Diana has also signed a charterparty with Oldendorff Carriers for 177,828-dwt Boston (built 2007).

This fixture, also commenced Friday, will run through at least 1 April 2021, perhaps through 30 June 2021, at $15,300 per day.

The employments are expected to make about $17.9m of gross revenue for the minimum periods of both charters.

A 180,000-dwt capesize is getting $16,750 per day on average for a one-year fixture, according to Clarksons.

Diana, which owns 45 dry bulk vessels, fixed another one of its 14 capes last week to SwissMarine.
