Diana Shipping has added a fourth panamax to its list of active fixtures with Ausca Shipping.
The New York-listed owner today entered into a time charter with Hong Kong's Ausca Shipping for 73,593-dwt Arethusa (built 2007).
Diana is getting $9,150 per day for a period of 12 months to maximum 15 months and expects to make about $3.29m in revenue for the minimum period.
As of 26 April, a 75,000-dwt bulker on a one-year charter is earning $10,950 per day on average, according to Clarksons data.
Diana's three other panamaxes fixed to Ausca include 73,691-dwt Clio (built 2005), 76,942-dwt Artemis (built 2006), 75,172-dwt Dione (built 2001).
