Globus Maritime chairman George Feidakis has sold shares worth over $2m in the bulker owner.
Firment Shipping – the investment company which holds his shares in Nasdaq-listed Globus – has offloaded the stock since mid-November.
An SEC filing explains Firment holds the shares for investment purposes and sold 433,765 in total.
While stock worth $2.06m has been divested by Firment, it remains the dominant shareholder in Globus.
It controls a 54.7% stake, which is worth $7.2m at present trading levels.
Feidakis is also chairman of FG Europe and is the major shareholder in Eolos Shipmanagement.
