Braemar ACM chief executive James Gundy has been awarded stock worth £363,000 ($460,000) as an annual bonus.
Braemar Shipping Services said he will receive 194,000 ordinary shares under its deferred bonus plan for the 2018/19 financial year.
The stock is part of his bonus and vests after three years.
Braemar's share price jumped above the £2 barrier in May after strong full-year results from its shipbroking and finance divisions.
It recorded a one-off book loss of £21.3m on a move to sell three of its four technical divisions to Aqualis is exchange for a major shareholding in the company.
The one-off loss sent Braemar on its way to a loss of £27.37m for the year to the end of February, compared with a £2.89m loss on the bottom line a year ago.
Its underlying operating profit was up from £7.3m to £9.1m.
