Steve Holland has joined V.Group as its newest non-executive director.
Holland is currently the chief executive of Brenntag, the Germany-headquartered chemical producer and distributor.
“I am honoured to be joining V.Group at such an exciting time when the industry is undergoing monumental changes, such as the 2020 sulphur cap regulation," Holland said in a statement.
Prior to taking the top job in June 2011, Holland spent three years as chief executive of Brenntag's European business and became a member of the group’s management board.
"We welcome Steve as a member of the board. His global experience in developing and winning new business and building long-term partnerships which add real value to the customer will be invaluable as we look to drive organic growth in V. Group," John Pattullo, chairman of V.Group, said.
He is the second new face to join the V.Group board in the past week after new chief financial officer Alison Henriksen.
