New York-listed Diana told investors the three contracts will add revenue of at least $12.73m.
The deals came as rates in both sub-sectors began the week with upward movements after slipping back over the few sessions.
Diana says the 179,100-dwt PS Palios (built 2013) has been taken by RWE for a further 22 and 25 months.
The rate of $13,000 daily compares with the $9,800 per day available in the spot market at the end of last week.
Bunge has kept the 98,700-dwt Amphitrite (built 2012) for an extra 22 to 25 months. A rate of $7,700 has been secured on the ship.
Sandgate Maritime has chartered Diana’s 74,400-dwt Coronis (built 2006) at $6,500 per day over a nine to 12 month period. The rate is a fraction above where spot rates finished last week.
The charters were announced just after the Baltic Dry Index recorded its first upward movement in seven days, with each of the four sub-sectors showing modest improvement.
