Essar Shipping has said CFO Sandeep Akolkar has resigned with effect from Monday.
It gave no reason for the departure.
Last year, the company sold its last capesize bulker for scrap.
The 175,000-dwt Kiran (built 1994) went for for recycling in Pakistan for $434 per ldt or $10.5m.
