Golden Ocean CEO Birgitte Ringstad Vartdal has snapped up 10,000 shares in the Norwegian bulker company.
The acquisition would have cost around $70,000 at the average price of NOK 60.12 ($7).
The stock has since risen to NOK 60.95.
After the transactions, Vartdal owns 21,300 shares.
She holds options to buy 225,000.
