One of London’s few listed shipowners announced the change a week after Panmure Gordon bought the brokerage business.
Hellenic, which floated in London in late 2007, has a fleet of five bulkers in the water.
Peter Ashworth of Charles Stanley was the only analyst following the company, according to Hellenic’s website.
Panmure paid £1.5m in cash for Charles Stanley Securities with deferred payments potentially pushing the the fee up to £5m.
Ashworth is staying with Panmure Gordon post deal, he confirmed to TradeWinds this morning.
He is set to retain his existing portfolio of coverage and could potentially now add some new names.
