An offshore shipyard planned by Russian energy company Novatek could cost RUB 120bn ($1.77bn).
This is according to Novatek-Murmansk LLC general director Dmitry Ageev, who was cited by the Interfax news agency.
"It is a very fresh [figure], the latest available today. Clearly, we haven't finished designing the topside facilities, haven't selected the contractors for the topside facilities," he said.
"Adjustments at the working information stage are possible."
The plan for the Belokamenka site near Murmansk was first mooted in 2015 under the name Kola Shipyard.
It is intended to construct offshore complexes for production, storage and transshipment of LNG and gas condensate.
In 2016, the target was to get it up and running in 2019.
