Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) has won a contract to manage Pardus Energy's new FSRU.
The 170,000-cbm Turquoise, built at Hyundai Heavy Industries, will be handled by WSM in Malaysia.
"We are extremely excited to be selected as the manager for this FSRU. This win further solidifies our position in the gas market and we expect further growth driven by the positive sentiment in this segment," said Carl Schou, CEO of WSM.
"We are very pleased to select WSM as the technical manager for our first newbuild FSRU, Turquoise, and look forward to working and developing a fruitful relationship with WSM in the years ahead," added Tony Heffernan, head of LNG and FSRU at Pardus Energy.
WSM has a portfolio of more than 450 vessels and 9,200 active seafarers.
Pardus Energy is based in Ireland and is a newcomer to the FSRU market.
