Ince has strengthened in the Asia Pacific region by taking over alliance partner Incisive Law in Singapore.

The global law firm described the move as a "consolidation" by local unit Ince & Co Singapore.

And the group said that serving clients through one firm in the country is a logical "next step" for the long-term partners.

The move allows Ince to offer advice on English as well as Singapore law.

Adrian Biles, chief executive of parent The Ince Group, said its ambition is to create a bespoke international legal and professional services business to provide everything its clients need, wherever they are.

"The seamless consolidation of our Singapore office, alongside the hiring and promoting of highly skilled individuals to Singapore and other Asian markets shows a commitment to Singapore and our clients in the region," he added.

Bill Ricquier and Wai Yue Loh, joint managing directors of Incisive Law, added that they are "excited" to working with the Ince team to grow their firm and the services it can provide.

Expanding team

"It is an exciting time and we look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts with everyone in the firm, as well as with the Ince network," they said.

Ince and Incisive Law also revealed new hires and promotions in Asia and beyond.
