A court in Croatia has postponed a decision on opening bankruptcy proceedings against Uljanik Group shipyard 3 Maj.
The final hearing into the matter will be held on 5 June in Rijeka, the Xinhua news agency reported.
The yard owes HRK 135m ($20m).
It and Uljanik Shipyard are part of the troubled Uljanik Group, which has been hit by order cancellations and strikes.
The Croatian government has rejected a bail-out for the group and the hope is now that Chinese investors will come to its rescue.
3 Maj director Edi Kucan said bankruptcy is the only option without a new strategic partner.
