US law firm Holland & Knight has promoted maritime lawyer Blythe Daly to senior counsel.
The announcement of her jump from associate comes more than nine years after the shipping litigator joined the firm.
Based in the firm's New York office, Daly is involved in a variety of matters across the shipping spectrum, representing owners, charterers, commodities traders, freight forwarders, insurers, logistics companies and cargo interests.
Daly joined the firm after earning her law degree from Tulane University law school.
While at Holland & Knight, she seconded to a protection-and-indemnity club and a bulker operator.
"The firm is catching up with recognising what the industry and admiralty bar already know: Blythe is a star and leader of the next generation of trusted counsel for shippers, charterers and commodities traders around the globe," said lawyer Christopher Nolan, a Holland & Knight partner who works closely with Daly.
