The co-ordinator-general of Queensland has approved two new sections of pipeline that will connect to the Australia Pacific LNG export project.The land-use approvals will “now allow APLNG to push on to deliver a project that will provide major benefits for both Queensland and the nation”, state Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney told the Xinhua news agency.The 525-kilometre gas transmission line will travel from coalbed methane gas fields in central and south-west Queensland to liquefaction trains on Curtis Island, off Gladstone.The developers took a final investment decision in July on a second, 4.5 million tonnes per annum train.
