Dof Subsea has fixed two of its vessels on contracts supporting subsea inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and offshore windfarm projects.
The company’s 70-metre-long survey and IMR vessel Geograph (built 2007) has won a contract from the Norwegian Mapping Authority that will run until the late autumn.
The ship will provide hydrographic services for the MAREANO 2019 ocean mapping programme in offshore Norway.
Separately, Dof’s 8,452-dwt construction support vessel Skandi Constructor (built 2009) has been contracted to Siemens.
The vessel will be employed until the summer, working on the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm Project in the Moray Firth, 13 km off the north-east coast of Scotland.
A total of 21 Siemens turbines are left to be installed at Scotland's largest offshore windfarm, which will comprise 84 turbines when construction is completed later this year.
"I am pleased with the magnitude of the contract awards and our global organisation's ability to secure utilisation for the Group's assets in a challenging market,” chief executive Mons S Aase said.
