Two of Dof's North Sea platform supply vessels (PSVs) have won short-term period employment.
Premier UK has hired the 4,135-dwt Skandi Caledonia (built 2003) for around four months from this quarter.
The PSV will perform supply duties for two firm wells, plus another optional well.
Dof (UK)'s 4,328-dwt Skandi Barra (built 2005) will this month commence a drilling support contract.
TradeWinds has learned the client is CNOOC International and that the rate is around £11,500 per day, on the basis of one well taking 60 days to complete.
CNOOC is one of the biggest producers in the UK North Sea, which is "actively exploring" in the central North Sea and West of Shetland, according to its website.
The value of the contracts was not disclosed by the Oslo-listed shipowner.
Dof has been active in winning new employment and renewing existing contracts with its clients so far this year.
In early July, ConocoPhillips Skandinavia has extended its long-term contracts on three of Dof's multirole support vessels (MRVs) for a further five years.
But the group has not been immune to the effects of the depressed offshore market, seen over the past three years.
Dof warned warned in May it is likely to be unable to pay back some bank loans and be in breach of covenants.
The Norwegian group said that due to a "continued challenging market situation" it had been very difficult to carry out its regular rollover of existing loans.
